Full, pale straw-yellow colour with slight green hues, a little lighter on the edge. This has a very fresh and tightly bound nose with good depth and intensity of white and yellow stonefruits entwined with subtle exotic floral elements, unfolding complexing nuances of flint and minerals. Dryish to taste and medium-bodied, the palate is elegantly concentrated with penetrating and vibrant flavours of white and yellow stonefruits interwoven with exotic floral, honeysuckle and mineral elements. Fresh, lacy acidity lends a mouthwatering feel and the wine is guided by a very fine-grained, firm phenolic threaded line leading to a lingering finish of minerals and white stonefruits. This is an elegantly concentrated, vibrant dry Pinot Gris with flavours of white stonefruits and florals with complexing mineral nuances and a fine-textured line. Serve with Thai, Vietnamese and Japanese fare over the next 3+ years. Fruit from the L6M and E6 blocks cool-fermented in stainless-steel with 10% in seasoned French oak barriques to 13.0% alc. and 3.9 g/L RS, the wine aged 2 months on lees.
